Google Adsense and Adwords (prezentace)

Good afternoon everyone. Let me introduce myself. My name is XXX XXX and I would like to tell you something about Google Adsense and Google Adwords. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask during my speech.

I’m going to divide my speech into following parts. Firstly I’ll tell you something in general about Google. Secondly I’ll focus on Adwords and then I’ll try to describe Adsense. Lastly, I try to make a conclusion and give an example.

INTRODUCTION
As you might have heard last week from Peter 99% (16,4 billion dollars) of Google’s revenue come from advertising. It based on two different services. The first one is called Adwords is intended for advertisers who want to promote their products or services while Google Adsense and is meant for website owners.

ADWORDS
In Adwords advertisers pay some money to Google and than they can choose the keywords that should trigger their ads and the maximum amount of money they are willing to pay per click. The more they pay the better position they get on the site. Basically there are two types of adverts. Advertisers can choose from text links and banners. In the future you might also see video ads, which are being tested.

ADSENSE
Let’s take a look at Google Adsense. If you have a blog or some kind of website, than you can easily earn money by putting Adsense code into your website. You can place it wherever you want. Google scans the page you visit and provide relevant advertisements to the content. Joining Google Adsense is really simple. All you need to do is to sing up and wait for the approval of your website. Google Adsense is available for Czech websites since December 2006.

AN EXAMPLE
I’ve always wondered how profitable it might be to have these adverts on my website. In the USA there are even people who did so and don’t need to work anymore.

CONCLUSION
To sum up, Adwords and Adsense are very important services for Google, but you can also take a benefit from them either as a advertiser or as a publisher. Thank you for your attention.
