Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing in reply to your advetisement in ‘Jobs ’ magazine for general part- time work in your centre.

I am 25 years old and I come from Brno in the Czech Republic. At present I am working as a teacher of gymnastics in a primary school. I have studied English for eight years at school but I have never been to England. I want to spend some time in England to improve my spoken English.

I am interested in sport, fitness and I go to a swiming pool three times a week. At the university I were also a member of the college swimming team. I like children and I get on very well with people. I don’t mind doing any sort of work including setting up and taking down sports equipment. I like sun and water so I don’t mind working as a lifeguard.

I am prepared to work any hours but ideally I would like to work in the afternoons and evenings only so that I can attend English classes in the mornings. I have friends in Widsor, so accomodation is not a problem. My job ends at the end of June so I would be able to start on 1 st July.
